STUDIO
My
studio is my sanctuary. It is a place where I can go to
let all my creative energy flow and where I often am
inspired. Surrounded by clay and reed and all the
necessary tools makes it a special place.
All
of my
pieces are made of a combination of clay, fiber and wood.
Hand assembled and woven using traditional
techniques. I will often accentuate my pieces using
weaving materials such as red osier, birch bark, and palm.
The clay parts are wheel thrown and altered using high
fired stoneware with wood ash glazes.
